#PrayForJollibee: What the hell happened to him?

Calm down, Jollibee the fast food company is OK. However, the same cannot be said for a certain statue of its mascot. That is, if it’s real.

Over the past few days, a photo showing a statue of a “skinny” Jollibee mascot has made the rounds online. Reports can’t exactly pinpoint who originally uploaded the photo, but what’s undeniable is that it spawned the hashtag, #PrayForJollibee.

There are those who say the photo is a Photoshop creation, while others say it’s real because the earlier version of the fast food company’s mascot wasn’t as chubby as the current version.

Either way, netizens seem to have embraced the silliness of the #PrayForJollibee movement. Everybody needs a little bit of fun once in a while.
