Power Plant Mall explains water overflow inside premises

No, it doesn’t flood in there. (At least, that’s what the management says.)

“On Thursday, June 26, the Power Plant Mall in Makati City on Thursday clarified that the overflow of water reported inside the mall was not caused by heavy rains,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

In a statement, Power Plant Mall management, said, “The overflow of water on the Concourse Level of the Power Plant Mall on June 26, 2014 at around 3:30pm was caused by a disengaged storm drain pipe from the roof deck, which is located above a food establishment on that level.”

The statement went on to say that the water surge was stopped and that “operations in the mall’s concourse level have already resumed.
