Guess it was too soon.
The proposed roadsharing experiment — you know, when half of EDSA from Ortigas to SM Mall of Asia will be reserved for bicycles — isn’t pushing through on Sunday, June 28.
The memo, shared by the MMDA Facebook page, lists four reasons: there will be a fun run at SM Moa, there are several malls along EDSA will be having weekend sales, not to mention DPWH road repairs, and they think there’s a lack of information dissemination. #whatever.
Anyway, dubbed the “EDSA Revolution 2015,” the roadsharing experiment would’ve had half of both north and southbound lanes devoted to pedestrians and bicycles. It sounded too good to be true, and with this postponement, we guess too soon, as well.
Oh well. Guess that’s better than pushing through with it unprepared.
To the organizers, better planning next time, please! We’re still look forward to it.
