Pork scam whistleblower Ruby Tuason has left the country

So, what the heck happens now?

“Pork barrel scam whistleblower Ruby Tuason, who once served as the social secretary of former President Joseph Estrada, left the country on Sunday, Mar 2, on board Cathay Pacific Cx902 that left Manila at 6:09pm and arrived in Hong Kong at 8:04pm,” reports Tetch Torres-Tupas on Inquirer.net.

A former business partner of alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles, Tuason herself is also facing plunder charges in relation to the Malampaya fund scam. She has been accused of receiving over PHP200 million kickbacks for a still-unknown principal.

In the Feb 13 Senate hearing, Tuason had claimed that she personally delivered kickbacks to Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile in the past. Both senators have dismissed her claims.

Tuason will reportedly be back in the Philippines by April 5.
