“Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila De Lima announced that key pork barrel scam whistle-blower Benhur Luy has sent a letter to Atty. Levito Baligod informing him that he has been relieved effective March 3,” reports Louis Bacani on Philstar.com.
The report highlighted Luy’s reason: “Luy reportedly severed his ties with Baligod citing the lawyer’s supposed lack of time.”
De Lima assured everyone that Baligod’s departure won’t affect the cases that they have filed against those involved in the PHP10-billion pork barrel scam.
