Pope Francis, an ex-bouncer, has a night life outside of Vatican City

Pope Francis, the worldwide leader of the Catholic Church, used be a bouncer in a Buenos Aires nightclub.

“During a trip to a Rome-area church on Sunday, he revealed that he had once worked as a bouncer at a Buenos Aires nightclub before turning his attention to the church. That’s in addition to his time as a janitor and laboratory assistant,” reports Tim Sprinkle on Yahoo! News.

According to the report, this is the first time Pope Francis has confessed this gig since he took over Pope Benedict in March 2013.

Meanwhile, a Huffington Post story says that the Pope has a night life outside of Vatican City.

Quoting a knowledgeable source, the website says “Swiss guards confirmed that the pope has ventured out at night, dressed as a regular priest, to meet with homeless men and women.”
