We’ll never stop saying it: Bad cops should be weeded out.
“Police Officer 1 Omar Sarahan, 40, was collared in front of the Philtranco Bus Terminal in Pasay City after he reportedly sold 400 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of PHP2.4-million to an undercover agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA),” reports Robertzon Ramirez in The Philippine Star.
Aside from the shabu, PDEA agents also confiscated Sarahan’s service firearm.
Sarahan will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, a report by Jing Villamente of The Manila Times revealed: “Sarahan is presently detailed at the Regional Police Holding Administrative Unit-National Capital Regional Police Office. He is serving his suspension for six months for grave misconduct.”
