One more foreign embassy in metro won’t hurt.
“The Philippines and Poland have started discussions for the opening of a Polish embassy in Metro Manila. Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Assistant Secretary for European Affairs Maria Zeneida Angara Collinson recently met a delegation from Poland to discuss the opening of the embassy,” reports Pia Lee-Brago in The Philippine Star.
The establishment of a Polish embassy in the Philippines would be a great milestone for 40 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
According to the report, the Philippines is currently under the jurisdiction of the Polish embassy in Kuala Lumpur. Poland likewise has honorary consulates in Manila, Cebu and General Santos.
