In the latest ABS-CBN survey conducted by Pulse Asia, Senator Grace Poe and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte were in a very close fight for the top spot.
“The poll was conducted from March 8 to 13 with 4,000 repondents nationwide. The respondents were registered voters with Biometrics,” reports Tempo.
The respondents were asked this question: “If the coming 2016 election were held today, whom would you vote for as President of the Philippines?” The respondents were then shown a sample ballot and list of candidates as of Feb 15, 2016. The list still included the name of the late Rep. Roy Señeres.
The following was the result:
1. Sen. Grace Poe – 26%
2. Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte – 25%
3. Vice President Jejomar Binay – 22%
4. Mar Roxas – 20%
5. Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago – 3%
6. Señeres – 0.1%
