PNR train gets derailed in Sta. Mesa

It would appear that it’s not just Metro Rail Transit trains that have a problem.

“A southbound Philippine National Railways (PNR) train was derailed at around 9:21am on Monday, August 25,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

According to PNR spokesman Paul de Quiros, “the bogey of one of the coaches of the southbound train was derailed and the train stopped between the España and Sta. Mesa stations.”

The report explained: “Trains running on the southbound track are transferred on the northbound track when passing through the area where the other train stalled.”

The PNR crew hopes to get everything fixed within the day.
