Can’t we rely on public trasport anymore?
“A southbound train of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) was derailed between the EDSA and Nichols stations at around 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to PNR spokesperson Paul de Quiros, “at least five fifty passengers sustained minor bruises in the incident, which occurred near the Skyway Magallanes Exit.”
After the derailment, all passengers of the three-coach train were transferred to the Nichols station.
De Quiros explained that “the incident has not affected the operations of the PNR, as trains running on the southbound track only need to transfer to the northbound track when passing through the area and then go back to the southbound track.”
PNR engineers are still investigating the cause of the derailment.
