Starting today, a Danish television crew will shadow a team of officers from the Philippine National Police to feature police work for a reality TV show in Denmark. In a statement, Police Director Lina Sarmiento, the head of the directorate for police community relations, said the PNP is one of 10 police organizations around the world that would be featured in Station 2-Foreign Crime Relations, a program aired by TV2 Danmark, a Danish television network. “This featured TV program will showcase our police officers on how they deal in every situation requiring police action or intervention,” said Sarmiento. “Likewise, I am very positive that our cops will perform their best because I believe that all our personnel are well-trained and skilled enough to act upon their duties and responsibilities,” she added. “Starting on September 23, the crew of TV2 Danmark will follow and join police officers for five days doing actual work to capture scenes on how the PNP enforces the law, and maintain peace and order.” MM
