PNP to dispose of WW2 bombs recovered in Pasay

PNP chief Director General Alan Purisima has ordered the immediate disposal of more than 100 World War II vintage bombs turned over by a junk shop owner to Pasay City police authorities.

He said the vintage explosives should be death with immediately to avoid a potential disaster should the bombs explode.

According to GMA NEWS, Pasay City police received over 100 vintage bombs and explosives from a concerned junk shop owner earlier this week. PNP spokesman Chief Superintendent Generoso Cerbo Jr. said the explosives will be transferred to a secure facility for proper disposal.
