“Apart from watching tell-tale signs of a secret drug facility, the Philippine National Police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (PNP-AIDSOFT) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) recently called on the public to support their all-out anti-drugs campaign by knowing their hotlines where they can relay information on narcotics activities in their neighborhood,” reports Alfred Dalizon on Journal Online.

PNP-AIDSOTF commander, Senior Superintendent Bartolome C. Tobias said that apart from the DILG Patrol 117 and the PNP hotline  +63 917 8475757 and the PNP Facebook and Twitter accounts, drug informants could also send their tips to the PDEA’s 24/7 SMS/Text Center.

PDEA chair, Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac Jr., said that information could be sent to the following numbers:

Smart subscribers +63 999 8887332

Globe subscribers +63 927 9150616

Sun Cellular subscribers +63 925 5737332.

The report noted: “The identities of the tipsters will be kept in utmost secrecy to protect them from drug syndicates, the two officials assured.”
