PNoy will take bread-making classes after stepping down from office

You have to admit this is cute.

President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III will be busy taking bread-making lessons a week after he steps down from office as the most powerful man in the land.

In an interview on ANC’s Headstart, outgoing Tourism secretary Ramon Jimenez confirmed that the beating, rolling and kneading will start after the country’s new leaders are inaugurated into office.

What’s even cuter? Pnoy is bringing is friends with him to his class.

Foreign Affairs secretary Rene Almendras, Public Works secretary Rogelio Singson, Finance secretary Cesar Purisima, former National Economic, Development Authority director-general Arsenio Balisacan and Jimenez himself will learn how to make bread too.

“I thought it was a joke when we were invited, so I raised my hand,” Jimenez said.

He revealed that there’s a another student who will join them: Bureau of Internal Revenue commissioner Kim Henares.

“Kim Henares is joining, and she said ‘I am eating only the bread I made’,” he said jokingly.

Jimenez said that Aquino is neither lonely nor sentimental about stepping down.

“I don’t describe it as loneliness. He’s actually very proud of the work. As I think I’ve mentioned before, he’s actually very proud of his people. He’s really so blown away by their strength,” said Jimenez.

Aquino’s last day of office is on Thu, Jun 30.
