PNoy to visit Vatican City and meet with Pope Francis

President Noynoy Aquino is en route to Paris for a six-day European trip.

He will attend a worldwide conference on climate and meet with several businessmen in hopes of securing investments in the Philippines, according to ABS-CBNnews.com. 

He will also visit Rome to meet with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, and Vatican City on Dec 4 for a reciprocal visit with Pope Francis who was in the Philippines early this year. 

The President, who is visiting the city for the first time as a head of state, is expected to have a private audience with the Pontiff.

He will be accompanied by Trade and Industry Secretary Gregory Domingo, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Agrarian Reform Secretary Virgilio De Los Reyes, Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Ramon Paje and Health Secretary Janette Garin.
