PNoy slams politicians who are already focusing on the 2016 polls

Ideally, they should curb their inappropriate enthusiasm.

“On Tuesday, while speaking at the General Assembly of the League of Municipalities at the Manila Hotel, President Benigno Aquino III took a swipe at government officials who are forgetting their mandate as they are already looking forward to the 2016 elections,” reports Louis Bacani on Philstar.com.

It would be impossible to implement change if a leader is focused on his personal interests and looking good for the next elections. Instead of coming up with long-term projects that are beneficial to everyone, they just want projects that are great for photo-ops and not much else).”

Sorry, PNoy, those politicians will just ignore your words and go right back to their pseudo-campaigning activities.
