Freddie Aguilar’s homage to youthful angst is definitely the presidential theme song.
“In a teaser for Gandang Gabi Vice‘s Jan 4 episode, it was revealed that President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III sang a few lines of ‘Estudyante Blues’ with the show’s host, Vice Ganda,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The comedian had asked PNoy in Filipino, “Do you like to sing?” Aquino had answered, “Especially when I am alone.” To which the comedian had joked, “So you want us all to go away so you can sing by yourself?”
The report then noted that the special episode of Gandang Gabi Vice with the Philippine president will be aired on Sun night, after The Voice of the Philippines.
