Obviously, they can’t wait for 2016.
“In light of the recent admission of President Benigno Aquino III on the government’s slow response to Typhoon Yolanda victims, the Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) is demanding his resignation,” reports Samuel Medenilla on Manila Bulletin Online.
In a statement issued on Friday, Mar 14, KMU chairperson Elmer Labog said, “We vow to bring our case for the president’s resignation to the people. We vow to intensify our protests against his anti-people policies and call for his resignation as we approach Labor Day.”
Labog added that Aquino should also “face criminal charges for the government’s slow aid in typhoon-hit areas.”
