He’s gearing up for the last leg of his stint as the most powerful public official in the land.
“With eight months left in his presidency, President Noynoy Aquino was asked about his retirement and future plans during the the annual presidential forum of the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (FOCAP) at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City on Tue, Oct 27,” reports Aurea Calica in The Philippine Star.
Aside from continuing his advocacy, Aquino expressed his desire to take a real break to “got to the beach.”
Aquino lamented his current state, noting, “My problem is, I have access to not only all the nicest places in this country, but also to other tourist destination around the world. But I always have only a minute or two to appreciate these.”
He added, “I can’t even say that I’ve had the Bora experience like most Filipinos had. I’ve been to Boracay for only an hour and 10 minutes, and most of that was in Caticlan.”
So, does this mean we’ll be seeing him lounging around in Boracay in the latter part of 2016?
