Despite the fact that his fans want him to stay in Malacañan Palace for one more term, President Noynoy Aquino is reportedly not keen on doing that.
“Following Secretary Mar Roxas’s statement that Aquino should stay longer in Malacañang so that he could continue his program of good governance, Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma declared that latter is just not interested in seeking another term,” reports Jorge Cariño on ABS-CBNnews.com.
“The President made it clear that he’s just counting the months and days until his term is over and not once did the thought of having a longer term cross his mind because the Constitution is very clear about that,” Coloma explained in Tagalog.
Coloma also added that “Roxas’ statement should be taken as a mere exercise of his freedom of expression.”
