“In a Wednesday, March 25, gathering to celebrate International Women’s Month, President Noynoy Aquino introduced himself as ‘single, with no children,’ who was avidly counting the days till his presidency was over so he could finally focus on love,” reports Jerry E. Esplanada in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Aquino was quoted as saying, “Lest you forget, I’m Noynoy Aquino. I’m single and [have] no children. But in 460 days, I’ll be ready (to change that).”
The report noted: “The President’s self-introduction was met with laughter from the more than 5,000 women in the audience, most of them variety store and food stall owners from Metro Manila who had gathered to celebrate Women’s Month at SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City.”
Aquino is currently being linked to 2015 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe winner Pia Wurtzbach.
