PNoy defends DAP in speech for Apolinario Mabini’s 150th birth anniversary

Couldn’t he have left it alone just for a day?

“President Benigno Aquino III graced the celebration of the sesquicentennial of Apolinario Mabini, the ‘brains of the Philippine Revolution,’ in Batangas but devoted most of his speech to stepping up his attack on the Supreme Court (SC) for outlawing his Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP),” reports InterAksyon.com.

In his lengthy DAP talk, Aquino was quoted as saying, “”If what you did has basis in law, then you acted in good faith. Even if in the future, the law from which you based you actions was declared void, you cannot be accused on acting in bad faith,” he said, adding that the high court “appears to have changed the rules and our understanding of the concept of in good faith, and this will have wide-ranging implications on our work in government.”

Surely, Apolinario Mabini doesn’t deserve this.
