PNoy creates 53 more local courts

A total of 53 new regional trial court (RTC) and metropolitan trial court (MTC) branches will be created all over the country after President Benigno Aquino signed the law to establish them. According to the Philippine Star, this brings the total of new court branches created this year to 149. The new branches were created to help expedite the hearing and resolution of legal cases in the country.
