Welcome back, Mr President.
After leaving Manila on Nov 17 for a whirlwind tour of Samar and Leyte to check on relief operations there, President Benigno Aquino III is back in Manila.
His return is connected to the Supreme Court ruling that the Priority Development Assistance Fund is unconstitutional, DILG Secretary Mar Roxas tells ANC.
Meanwhile, the Natonal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council revealed in a press conference this afternoon that the MMDA volunteers sent to Leyte and Eastern Samar last week will be coming back to Metro Manila, and that the Department of Public Works and Highway will be taking over their task.
These people deserve a heroes welcome.
