Congrats to Jonathan Yabut, the Pinoy marketing executive who just won in the cable reality show “The Apprentice Asia.” He is now, well, the apprentice of AirAsia Group chief executive Tony Fernandes and has a one-year work contract worth at least $100,000.
A franchise of the popular US show, the Asian version had Jonathan and Andrea Loh, a Singaporean lawyer, as the final two competing to be the apprentice of Fernandes. For their final challenge, the two had to organize a charity ball for AirAsia Foundation with the help of some former contestants.
So how did Jonathan, who is a University of the Philippines graduate, win the whole thing? He’s crediting it to diskarte.
