Their American Dream is now a Prison Nightmare.
“Filipino couple Alex Soria and Sonia Rodis, who are based in Las Vegas, were recently sentenced to up to eight years in prison for mortgage lending fraud,” reports ABS-CBN North America News Bureau.
The report noted: “The authorities said that Soria and Rodis stole about US$63,000 through their fraudulent mortgage and foreclosure scam where they promised homeowners that their mortgages will disappear while they maintain the property title. A number of their victims were Filipinos.”
