Filipina mountain-climber Carina Dayondon has summited Mount Aconcagua, she reported on her Facebook account.

She accomplished the feat on Thursday afternoon, Argentina time.

The Argentina peak is Dayondon’s penultimate stop, as she aims to climb the highest mountains on all 7 continents, more popularly known as “the Seven Summits.”

On Facebook, Dayondon said she and her team reached the peak earlier than planned due to inclement weather.

“Yes we did summit yesterday 2pm at Mt. Aconcagua (360 route Vacas Valley), earlier than our scheduled summit day because weather for the next few days will be strong wind, thanks to our reliable guides for their wisdom,” the post read.

Dayondon expressed her gratitude to her guides who helped her scale the 8,850-meter mountain.

The Mount Everest conqueror is set to climb Mount Vinson in Antarctica as she aims to become the first Filipina to conquer the “Seven Summits.”
