Hopefully, this move will help solve the case.
“A PHP300,000 reward has been offered for the capture of the killers of a law professor of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) who was ambushed in Sta. Ana, Manila, last March,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.
Pedro Clinton Laudencia—who was also a lawyer for the San Miguel Brewery Inc and president of Promoprint Corp—was attacked along Bergonia Street in New Panaderos by two motorcycle-riding men last March 26. At that time, Laudencia and his wife were on their way to Quezon City.
The reward money is from Laudencia’s relatives and friends.
Atty Jake Telan, counsel for the victim’s family, said they have been thinking of offering the reward since April.
Telan explained, “Nothing has come up yet because several cases had overshadowed my client’s ambush. We are hoping, through this the public could help solve the case.”
