Super typhoon ‘Ompong’ (international name Mangkhut) swept through the Philippines on early Saturday. According to several reports, Mangkhut is the strongest typhoon to hit the country so far this year, which placed at least three provinces under Typhoon Signal #4 by Friday.
Mangkhut made landfall in the Cagayan-Isabela region of Northern Luzon around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.
