Today is another good day for Pinoy stamp collectors.
The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) is issuing Visit Philippines 2015 special stamps on Thu, Mar 25, “to highlight the year-long campaign aimed at encouraging local and foreign tourists to participate in various activities and events in the country.”
Postmaster General Josie Dela Cruz was quoted as saying, “The Visit Philippines 2015 special stamps will be issued to boost the current campaign of the Department of Tourism to awaken international interest on various destinations and attractions in the country.”
PHLPost’s press release explains that “the special stamps feature the official logo with the Visit the Philippines year 2015 at the background. The campaign also aims to increase and sustain the ongoing Philippine tourism slogan, ‘It’s More Fun in the Philippines.'”
The Visit Philippines 2015 stamps are each priced at PHP10.
