Philippine Red Cross treats over 800 devotees during Black Nazarene procession

As of 9pm on Thursday, Jan 9, the Philippine Red Cross reported that they had treated a total of 842 people during the grueling Black Nazarene procession. Out of the 842 treated, a many as 509 people sustained minor injuries.

The Red Cross added that the image of the Black Nazarene was back inside Quiapo Church at 1:56am on Friday, Jan 10. Officials had projected that it would take 18 hours for the image to be transported from the Quirino Grandstand and back to Quiapo Church.
