Should we call this bad hair news?
“A recent survey done by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reveals that the Philippines faces not only a shortage of professionals but even of barbers, hairdressers and beauticians,” reports Mayen Jaymalin in The Philippine Star.
Meanwhile, the top hard-to-fill vacancies in the group of professionals are engineers, system analysts, accountants, medical technologists, pharmacists, writers, architects, medical doctors, chemists, and teachers.
The DOLE covered 7,000 establishments in the survey.
And while we’re on the subject of barbers, watch this one give us a carindera tour.
