For its Independence Day installation, SM City Baguio decided to have a map of the Philippines set up at the Atrium. But it’s not just any map — it’s done entirely with Lego bricks.
In her report, Diane Rivera of ABS-CBN News Baguio pointed out that the Philippine Lego map used up a total of 70,000 Lego bricks and it measures 480 square feet.
Five people were tasked to build the map, which the mall management said took overnight.
The map brings to life some of the country’s tourist spots such as the Rizal Park in Manila, the Bangui Windmills in Ilocos Norte, the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, and Maria Cristina Falls in Iligan.
The Lego Philippine map will be on display until June 21.
