It’s not too late after all.
The arrest warrant that a Zambales court issued for Fil-Am Jonathan Dewayne Ciocon Viane has been transmitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigation at the US Embassy in Manila.
And they’ve joined the hunt for Viane, who allegedly shot, strangled, and burned a 23-year-old Filipina in San Felipe, Zambales.

But should Viane be caught, he will not be brought back to the Philippines. “He will be jailed in the US. [The Philippines cannot apply for extradition] because he is a US citizen,” Mayor Rolen Paulino told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The report continues: “The local government was coordinating with the Department of Justice and the US Embassy to expedite the arrest of Viane, a resident of Anchorage, Alaska.”
On Sat, Jul 25, the body of Karie Ces ‘Aika’ De Dios Mojica was found in a dike. With three gun shots to the head, she was hardly recognizable.
The 29-year-old Viane was implicated in the crime by his 17-year-old girlfriend.
Viane flew out of the country on board an Eva Air flight bound for the US on Sunday, Jul 26 — barely 24 hours after the crime was committed.
