Believe it or not, some areas hit by Typhoon Pablo back in late 2012 are still without electricity.
“Malacañang said on Wednesday, Feb 26, that Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Jericho Petilla has vowed to restore electricity in all areas affected by Typhoon Pablo within 45 days,” reports Tempo.
Petilla made the vow came after President Noynoy Aquino got irked after learning that some areas hit by Pablo in 2012 still have no electricity.
The report quoted deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte who explained that “Petilla still has the trust and confidence of Aquino but heads will roll if areas affected by Pablo still have no electricity within 45 days.”
