TV and radio host Julius Babao thinks the PHP10-billion pork barrel scam probe won’t be resolved until after P-Noy’s term. In his column for Bulgar, he writes that while Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales has promised to take no more than a year to review and file cases with the Sandiganbayan, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago warns it will take at least five years for trials to start and appeals to be motioned, before they eventually reach the Supreme Court. This means we won’t be seeing a resolution until 2019 or 2020, and by that time the current could already be out the door.
