PCSO chief resigns

Another one bites the dust.

“Malacañang said on Friday, May 9, that President Benigno Aquino III has accepted the resignation of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) chairwoman Margarita Juico,” reports Philstar.com.

Presidential Communication Operations Office head Herminio Coloma Jr. said in a statement that the president thanked Juico for her “dedicated service to the government and the Filipino people.”

According earlier reports, Juico, 65, had cited her age and the need to rest as reasons for leaving PCSO.
