After 14 fashionable years, Pauline Juan has stepped down as Preview Magazine’s editor-in-chief, Stylebible.ph announced on Wed, Jan 13.
On the eve of the announcement, on Tuesday night, the Preview team along with its triple W crew Stylebible.ph threw a lovely farewell party at Vask Modern Tapas & Gastronomy to pay tribute to their well-loved editor.
“Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng, president and chief operating officer of Summit Media didn’t miss the chance to also thank Pauline for her outstanding work and give her credit she deserves, referring to her as ‘an editor who comes once in a lifetime’,” reports Marj Ramos on Stylebible.ph.
Taking Juan’s place is Isha Andaya, Preview’s current executive editor, who says the appointment was both “a surprise and an honor”.
According to Gokongwei-Cheng, “Isha is a Preview Girl who has gotten her hands dirty in both print and digital”.
Apart from her decade-long training under Juan, Andaya also launched Preview’s website, Stylebible.ph in October 2008.
“She is indeed an editor-in-chief for our times and we look forward to her bringing the brand to new heights,” continues Gokongwei-Cheng.
Looks like exciting and fashionable times are ahead of everyone.
