As the lone municipality in Metro Manila, Pateros understandably doesn’t get the lion’s share of media coverage. But, hey, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any newsworthy things going on there.
“On Thursday, Jan 30, Pateros opened its first ever e-Library at the Old Pateros Technological College on P. Herrera Street, Barangay San Pedro,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in the Manila Bulletin.
The report revealed that the e-Library was deemed a necessary addition to Pateros after a survey revealed that “only 30 percent of the municipality’s 64,000 residents have access to computers and the Internet.”
