Pasay City police are on the look out for a yet unidentified man who threw acid at a 29-year-old Toyota employee over the weekend.
August Bautista, an employee of Toyota Cars on Roxas Boulevard is still confined at San Juan De Dios Hospital after the acid attack. His friend and housemate said in a Manila Bulletin report that he picked up Bautista at work and was pouring water in the radiator of his car when the attack happened.
Bautista dropped his bag which had P60,000 in cash, his mobile phone, and his ID cards. The suspect picked up and ran away with the bag while Bautista ran to the restroom of Toyota Cars to wash his face.
Bautista also suffered an acid attack along Macapagal Avenue in Paranaque City four months ago, the report said.
