Pasay cracks down on ‘batang hamog’ and other street kids

Let’s face it, some of these kids are already criminals.

“Pasay City Mayor Antonino Calixto has vowed to cleanse Pasay of ‘batang hamog’ or streetchildren involved in robbery incidents before the start of the 23rd World Economic Forum on East Asia next month at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City,” reports Jean Fernando in Tempo.

According to Calixto, the city government renewed the drive against batang hamog because they have continued to threaten motorists. They are also involved in “Bukas Kotse” and other robbery incidents in the city.
