The Manila Bay stays as is…for now.
“Citing several ‘flaws’ that need to be addressed, the Pasay City Council on Wednesday, Dec 4, withdrew the award of the PHP54.5-billion Manila Bay reclamation project to SM Land Inc,” reports Claudeth C. Mocon-Ciriaco in the Business Mirror.
The report cited an eight-page resolution, wherein the council “unanimously approved to recall all resolutions issued for the reclamation of 300 hectares offshore and inshore parts of Manila Bay.”
Something tells us we haven’t heard the end of this yet.
