The driver of a candidate for the Pasay City council was shot dead Tuesday while his principal was on a door-to-door campaign in one of the city’s barangays.
The driver, Wilfredo Parajon, was reportedly shot by men on a motorcycle, radio DZMM reports.
Alvin Crusin, a candidate with the Nationalist People’s Coalition, found his driver dead at the corner of P. Zamora and Prima de Marso. He had been going around Barangay 107 to campaign.
Witnesses said the shooters were wearing helmets and sped off in the direction of Pasay Road.
