Will this make more people sympathetic to his plight?
“Retired Army Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan said he had a hard time sleeping on his first night at the Bulacan Provincial Jail (BPJ) as he still fears for his life,” reports Tempo.
Palparan was quoted as saying, “The threat to my life is real. I still feel that I won’t last here long. I hope the court will reconsider my request to stay at the National Bureau of Investigation detention cell where I feel comfortable.”
Obviously, Bulacan Regional Trial Court Branch 14 Judge Teodora Gonzales junked Palparan’s petition to to stay in the NBI detention cell.
Palparan now shares with 72-year-old inmate Edgardo Franscisco.
