It’s a good thing it was Sunday.
“Three to four lanes of Commonwealth Avenue’s eastbound lane were occupied by mass-goers early morning in light of the annual Palm Sunday, which fell on April 13 this year,” reports dzMM correspondent Dexter Ganibe on ABS-CBNnews.com.
In fact, the report said that in Kristong Hari Parish in Commonwealth Avenue, “the parish priest celebrated mass outside the church because there wasn’t enough space to celebrate the mass within its walls.” This was why, as the report pointed out, “a number of mass-goers stayed at the footbridge of Commonwealth Market instead.”
