PAL to passengers: We don’t go anywhere near Ukraine airspace

Following the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 tragedy, people are now understandably worries about planes flying over Ukraine’s airspace.

“Philippine Airlines (PAL) has released a statement to assure its passengers that its European bound flights do not fly over the Ukrainian airspace,” reports Anjo Perez in Tempo.

“We wish to convey our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims of this tragic incident and join the rest of the world in praying for those who were lost, as well as their loved ones,” PAL said.

PAL then reiterated that its Manila-London-Manila flights don’t go anywhere near Ukraine or its territory.

Ukraine is currently engaged in a conflict against Russia.
