A sports utility vehicle (SUV) carrying three passengers suddenly went up in flames along the southbound lane of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) on Thu afternoon, Jun 4.
Motorist Ray Efrain Reyes Saycon sent ABS-CBNNews.com photos of the burning Pajero along NLEx near Apalit exit. The NLEx traffic control office confirmed the incident, which happened at around 4 p.m.
Traffic control officer Mike Ocampo said the three passengers all managed to get out of the vehicle. He said the vehicle was immediately taken off the road. Traffic is back to normal in the area
The cause of the fire had yet to be determined as at 5:24pm on Thu, Jun 4.
