“The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recorded on Friday, November 7, the coldest temperatures in Metro Manila and Baguio City since the start of the northeast monsoon or amihan season,” reports Helen Flores in The Philippine Star.
In Metro Manila, 19.7°C was the coldest temperature was recorded at the Science Garden in Quezon City at 6am.
In Baguio City, temperature was at 12.4°C at 5:05am.
The report noted: “PAGASA declared the onset of the northeast monsoon last month. The northeast monsoon brings dry and cool air in the Philippines from November to February.”
