Pacquiao on retiring from boxing: ‘It’s hard to say I’m finished’

For months now, it’s been widely reported that boxing champ Manny Pacquiao’s Apr 9 bout against American boxer Tim Bradley is supposed to be his last fight ever.

Pacquiao, 37, is currently a congressman representing the province of Sarangani. He is also running for senator.

Pacquiao had become notorious for not attending Congress sessions. But he has said that he will focus on being a politician if he’s elected as senator.

Now, though, it seems Pacquiao is rethinking his plan.

In a Boxing Scene report, Pacquiao was asked if he will really retire from boxing. This was his answer: “It’s hard to say I’m finished. I can’t say I don’t want to come back. My decision will come after this fight.”

Pacquiao is now in Los Angeles and training for the fight against Bradley at the Wild Card Gym.
